Holiday Cookies







These holiday cookies are low in calories and reasonable in carbs.

Ingredients for Holiday Cookies

1/2 cup margarine

1 cup sugar

1 eggs

2 cups white all purpose flour

1/2 tsp low sodium baking powder

1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1 Topping, marshmallow cream, 7 oz jar

1/2 cup white chocolate chips, chopped

1/2 cup cranberries dried

1/2 cup chopped pecans

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 cooking spray

Preheat the oven to 350.

In a large mixing bowl, work the margarine and sugar into a creamy consistency. Combine egg and vanilla, mixing well.

Mix together the flour, baking powder, and cocoa in a separate bowl; add to margarine mixture.

Add marshmallow creme, and stir until combined. Add and stir in the white chocolate chips, cranberries, and pecans until well blended. Batter will thicken.

Coat baking sheet with non stick cooking spray. Drop batter by spoonfuls onto baking sheet.

Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until lightly browned. Remove and let cool on wire rack.
